Did you know that it costs the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra over $33,000 to present a single concert?  Some of our expenses for each concert may include:

Orchestra Personnel = $38,000
Guest Conductor = $3,000
Guest Artist = $5,000
Music Rental and Royalties = $1,000
Piano Tuning = $250
Civic Center = $3,000

Operating Costs include Personnel: Music Director/Conductor, Administrator, Librarian, Personnel Manager, Production Manager, Accountant, Marketing Personnel, Advertisement, Office Rental and Miscellaneous Expenses.

If we covered our concert and operating expenses with ticket sales alone we would have to charge over $50 for each ticket!  In reality, ticket sales account for about 35 percent of the Philharmonic’s total budget.  We depend on contributions from loyal subscribers like you to keep the music playing. 

From its founding in 1911 to the present, the supporters of the GPO have demonstrated a strong tradition of giving.  Please donate generously to ensure the future of beautiful music in our community.  Please consider a personal or corporate gift through one or more of our many giving opportunities.  Donations can be made to the GPO as Individual Gifts made through Individual Gifts and/or Planned Giving.  You can also support the GPO by: Sponsoring a concert; Advertising in our program;
